About Golf Sim at Home
Golf Sim at Home is a small independent publisher. We write plain-English guides that help homeowners work out whether a golf simulator fits their garage, basement or spare room, what to buy, and what it will cost, without a salesperson in the room.
What we do
- Explain the space a simulator needs (ceiling height, width, depth, projector distance) and what to do when a room falls short.
- Compare launch monitors and packages using manufacturers' published specifications and public documentation, and say clearly when a number is the maker's own claim.
- Build free calculators so you can check your room, work out projector distance and add up the cost for your own build.
What we don't do
- We don't sell equipment, offer installation, or take payment for placement in our guides.
- We don't publish made-up star ratings, testimonials or "lab results".
- We aren't golf professionals, electricians or contractors. For electrical work, structural changes and your own swing safety, talk to a qualified person and test with real swings before you buy.
